One of the largest ski areas in Europe, with over 600 km of slopes, the Portes du Soleil comprises 12 interconnected resorts spanning France and Switzerland:
8 French resorts, including Avoriaz, Morzine, Montriond, Les Gets, St Jean d’Aulps, Abondance, La Chapelle, and Châtel, and 4 Swiss resorts: Champéry, Torgon, Morgins, and Les Crosets-Val d’Illiez-Champoussin.
Châtel is located at the heart of the area, providing direct access to Avoriaz from the Pré la Joux sector, as well as to Morgins and Torgon from the Super Châtel sector.
